Stanford Fencing Association wishes to announce the appointment of former Stanford Varsity fencer Iris Zimmerman to the presidency of the organization. Ms. Zimmerman was a sophomore at Stanford when she fenced for the Women's Foil Olympic Team in Sydney, Australia. Having traveled the world for fencing competitions, Ms. Zimmerman is now the co-owner of the Rochester fencing Club in Rochester, New York, along with her sister and fellow Olympic fencer, Felicia Zimmerman. Iris will be married this June.
